By texting Friday AI or using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use our service.
Service Description
Friday AI is an AI-powered property management communication platform that facilitates SMS messaging between tenants and property managers. The service includes:
- Maintenance request processing
- Answering property-related questions
- Coordinating vendor services
- Sending building updates and notifications
SMS Terms and Consent
Consent to Receive Messages
By providing your phone number during lease signing or by texting our service, you consent to receive SMS messages from Friday AI on behalf of your property manager, including:
- Maintenance request confirmations and updates
- Responses to your questions
- Rent reminders and payment information
- Building notifications and emergency alerts
- Service coordination messages
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your interaction and property needs. You may receive:
- Immediate responses to your questions
- Maintenance updates as issues are resolved
- Periodic rent reminders
- Building alerts as needed
Opt-In Methods
You consent to SMS messages through:
- Lease Agreement: Phone number provided during lease signing
- Welcome Message: Receiving initial Friday AI introduction
- Inbound Text: Texting Friday AI with a question or request
Opt-Out Procedures
You can opt out at any time by:
- Texting STOP to any Friday AI number
- Contacting your property manager directly
- Emailing support@usefriday.co
Important: Emergency and safety-critical messages may still be sent even after opting out, as required for building safety and in accordance with your lease agreement.
Message and Data Rates
Standard SMS messaging and data rates may apply as determined by your mobile carrier. Friday AI does not charge for messages, but your carrier may.
Acceptable Use
You agree to:
- Use Friday AI only for legitimate property management communication
- Provide accurate information in maintenance requests
- Not abuse or spam the service
- Not use the service for illegal purposes
Service Availability
Friday AI is provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee:
- 100% uptime or message delivery
- Immediate responses (though we strive for fast service)
- Resolution of all issues through AI alone
For emergencies, always call 911 or your property manager directly.
Limitation of Liability
Friday AI is a communication tool. We are not responsible for:
- Property management decisions made by your landlord
- Vendor service quality or timing
- Misunderstandings in AI-generated responses
- Delays in message delivery due to carrier issues
Relationship with Property Manager
Friday AI acts as an agent of your property manager. Your lease agreement with your landlord remains the primary governing document for your tenancy.
Privacy
Your use of Friday AI is subject to our Privacy Policy, available at usefriday.co/privacy.
TCPA Compliance
This service complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). We:
- Only send messages with your consent
- Provide clear opt-out mechanisms
- Honor opt-out requests promptly
- Do not send unsolicited marketing messages
Intellectual Property
Friday AI, our logo, and service are property of Friday AI, LLC. You may not use our branding without permission.
Termination
We may terminate your access to Friday AI if you:
- Violate these terms
- Abuse the service
- End your lease agreement
You may terminate by texting STOP or contacting your property manager.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Changes will be posted with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, without regard to conflict of law principles.
